A Deerfield man being sought for questioning in the beating death of his girlfriend’s mother has been charged with first-degree murder in her slaying after being arrested in Montana, authorities said today. Daniel Baker, 21, is being detained in Montana until he can be returned to Illinois to face murder charges in the April 1 bludgeoning death of 50-year-old Marina Aksman of Vernon Hills, police said in a statement.
