A landscape employee is resting at home after being shocked in a lightning strike at the Grayslake facility where he works, authorities said Friday. The unidentified 35-year-old male worker was opening a door at Landscape Concepts in the 3100 block of Allegheny Road in Grayslake about 5:50 a.m. when lightning struck a nearby lightning rod, said George Markoutsas, a spokesman for the company.
