A car wreck shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday has taken the life of a 15-year-old Gurnee girl and her family’s dog, Lake County Sheriff officials said this morning. Taylor Mae Stinchcomb, 15, died at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville after being extracted from the wreckage of the crash on Almond Road.
