“The Chicago Code” and “The Playboy Club” didn’t make it to a second season, but fellow Chicago-based TV series “Shameless” did. And it has been filming exterior scenes for Season 2 — which premieres on Showtime Jan. 8 — in Chicago since Nov. 7.
