A 24-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday morning in the Garfield Park neighborhood, police said. At about 3 a.m., police responded to shots fired in the 001 block of South Keeler Avenue. They found Robert Allen, 24, of the 600 block of North Trumbull Avenue, shot in the head. Allen was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital were he was pronounced dead at 3:35 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. No further information was available, police said. — Deanese Williams-Harris
