Jamie Koy of Des Plaines is sentenced to two years probation and 60 days in jail after being found guilty of misdemeanor animal cruelty. The jail term will be triggered only if she mistreats her horses again. She faced up to a year in jail for neglecting five horses – two of which had to be euthanized – in McHenry County.
