A new Illinois law named for a 6-year-old Vernon HIlls boy who died when a soccer goalpost fell on his head has been signed by Gov. Pat Quinn to increase safety. Quinn on Tuesday signed “Zach’s Law,” which requires all moveable soccer goals made or sold in Illinois to be tip-resistant.
