About 11,000 Elk Grove Village residents who live west of Rohlwing Road in Schaumburg Township will lose certain privileges at their hometown library as of May 1, officials said last week. The change comes as a result of the Schaumburg Township District Library board’s decision last July to end a more than 25-year-old tax-sharing agreement with the Elk Grove Village Public Library.
