A lack of blustery days in December doesn’t necessarily mean that spring will be deferred, so many we all just got lucky. “It’s not a good gauge to look at December temperatures, because historically they don’t show one way or the other what the rest of winter will be like,” said Jamie Enderlen of the National Weather Service Chicago said.
